The Ocean Modern take
GamFratesi, the Copenhagen studio of Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, designed the Beetle in 2013 to cradle the sitter from seat to back. Its shell-like silhouette strikes a balance between the traditional and the surprising. Upholstered in cream or dove and set on an oak base, it brings sculptural comfort to a pale, modern dining room.
Style itPair cream upholstery and oak bases around a whitewashed table beneath a sculptural pendant.
